Job Description

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the Principal Investigator and research team in advancing the objectives of a Vibration Energy Harvesting (VEH) project. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to system design, experimental testing, and data analysis.
  • Developing circuits for energy management.
  • Assisting in the preparation of research publications, technical reports, and grant proposals.
  • Conducting independent research using appropriate VEH methodologies and techniques.
  • Integrating mechanical and electrical systems and testing under vibrational conditions.
  • Optimizing the system for energy efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

  • MSc degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong background in vibration analysis, energy harvesting, or embedded systems is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Prior research experience is an advantage.

Salary & Contract

  • Salary range: 100,720 to 148,808 RMB per annum, depending on skills and experience.
  • Fixed-term outsourced contract for 6 months, starting from August 2025.
  • Includes a probation period of 1 month.
