About PQC-X
The PQC-X Lab at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is a newly founded interdisciplinary research centre led by Prof. Jintai Ding, a global leader in post-quantum cryptography and Dean of the School of Mathematics and Physics. The lab is backed by an initial CNY22 million university funding to establish a world-class research hub focusing on:
- Post-quantum migration technologies
- Technology transfer to industry

About Prof. Jintai Ding
Prof. Ding is one of the principal designers of ML-KEM (FIPS 203), the only post-quantum key establishment standard selected by NIST. He is the inventor of the first quantum key exchange protocol, licensed to NIST. He was a Full Professor at Tsinghua University and the University of Cincinnati, and holds a PhD from Yale University.
