Therefore, we are now recruiting innovators with an aim to explore and solve current and future major challenges through theoretical innovation and application breakthroughs, so as to continuously create new possibilities for the world. Innovators are those who find funs in innovation and their passion for innovation infect others and bring them go beyond ordinary.

Generally, to apply for this position, you must be a tenured professor, and/or associate professor, and/or a high-level talent of equivalent position/level in a research institution at home and abroad; your personal development plan must be consistent with the specific faculty’s discipline development plan; you must have outstanding original research ability, potential to develop into a senior academic talent; and you must have international academic leadership.

Remuneration and Benefits

1. Position: Tenured Professor/Tenured Associate Professor/Chief Researcher;
2. Remuneration: salaries and benefits on a par with those for counterparts at the world’s top universities and subject to particular conditions will be provided for the selected candidates to support their academic studies;
3. Start-up fund: negotiable according to actual demand;
4. Doctoral students: a certain number of doctoral students will be enrolled each year;
5. Housing: housing assistance will be provided in the form of offering temporary apartments. Welfare apartments can be purchased if the requirements of the state and the university are met.
6. Children’s schooling: children of pre-school and compulsory education age can be arranged to attend the kindergartens and schools affiliated to Tsinghua University.
