Job Description

We seek to appoint an associate professor/professor in one or more of the following disciplines:

• Computer Science with significant competence in applying artificial intelligence.
• Mathematics or Statistics

Applicants should have a track record of publications and academic achievement to complement their research in the School of AI and Liberal Arts and be able to lead in the disciplines of Computer Science and AI, or Mathematics and Statistics.

Applicants should show a strong profile through demonstrable excellence and leadership in research and teaching. Successful candidates will work with talented lecturers to deliver vibrant, relevant education to students, using modern pedagogic approaches to develop their profiles.

Job Requirement

• PhD in computer science, mathematics/statistics, or closely related disciplines;
• International reputation in research and scholarship;
• Established track record of high-quality research output;
• Ability to attract external research funding is a distinct advantage;
• Teaching and tutorial experience in computer science, mathematics, statistics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in an international English-speaking institution;
• Ability to lead and deliver lectures and seminars within the School of AI and Liberal Arts;
• Contribution to teaching and curriculum development, student assessment and supervision;
• Commitment to high-quality research and obtaining external grants.
