Introduction to the Department
Peking University Law School is the birthplace of modern legal higher education in China. Since the establishment of the Law School at Beijing Normal University in 1904, Peking University Law School has a history of over 100 years. Job Series: Teaching and Research Series
Job Responsibilities:
- Undertake teaching responsibilities as assigned by the college, including basic courses, professional courses, and other courses offered by the school.
- Engage in scientific research activities, participate in or organize research projects at the college, and publish academic papers or monographs in core academic journals.
- Supervise graduate students in their research and academic development.
- Fulfill additional tasks assigned by the Peking University Law School.
Specialization Areas:
- Economic Law, Civil and Commercial Law, Jurisprudence, International Economic Law, Procedural Law, Intellectual Property Law, Constitutional Law, etc.
Qualifications:
- Completed a full legal education at a well-known university (domestic or international) and obtained a Ph.D. in law.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence, strong academic training, and outstanding research ability, with a record of publishing scientific research that meets the requirements for the corresponding professional title within the Law School.
- A proven teaching ability with effective lectures and strong foreign language proficiency, enabling the ability to teach relevant courses in English.
- A high level of participation in college activities and the ability to organize scientific research work.
