Job Description
Introduction to the Department
The National School of Development (NSD) at Peking University is a multidisciplinary institution that originally began as the Center for Economic Research (CCER) before being renamed in 2008 to the National Development Research Institute (CDI) to reflect its expanded research and teaching scope. In 2016, the Institute for South-South Cooperation and Development (AICD) was established to share knowledge on national development with other developing countries, promote international collaboration, and support sustainable, inclusive development.
The school boasts renowned scholars in fields such as economics, management, political science, educational economics, and demography. Guided by Peking University’s values of inclusiveness, harmony, and intellectual diversity, NSD focuses on addressing practical issues facing China and integrates academic excellence with real-world application.
