1. Introduction to the Department

Under the leadership of Academician Wang Yangyuan and Academician Huang Ru, the School of Integrated Circuits at Peking University has developed numerous national, provincial, and ministerial innovation research platforms. These include the National Innovation Platform for the Integration of Industry and Education in Integrated Circuits, the National Key Laboratory of Micro and Nano Processing Technology, the National Key Laboratory of Micro-Nano Electronic Devices and Integrated Technology, the Advanced Innovation Center for Integrated Circuits, the Key Laboratory of Microelectronic Devices and Circuits of the Ministry of Education, and the Beijing Laboratory of Integrated Circuit Science and Future Technology.

The school boasts world-class research and experimental environments in areas like micro-nano processing and integration, device/chip design and testing, and has built a teaching and research system recognized globally for its distinctiveness.
