1. Introduction to the Department

Teaching and Research Series

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-level scientific research independently.
• Supervise graduate and undergraduate students independently.
• Successfully complete teaching, scientific research, and social service work.

Qualifications:

• Assistant Professors / Pre-Appointed Associate Professors:
• Age: Generally not more than 35 years old.
• Ph.D. in materials science, chemistry, physics, or related fields.
• Achievements recognized at home and abroad in the field of materials science with potential to lead development in the discipline.
• Ability to teach in the classroom and demonstrate strong presentation and coordination skills.
• Tenured Positions:
• Age: Generally not more than 45 years for Associate Professor, and not more than 55 years for Professor.
• Ph.D. in materials science, chemistry, physics, or related fields.
• Significant research achievements recognized internationally, with recognition as an academic leader in the field.
• Ability to lead the development of the discipline and teach in the classroom.
• Strong presentation and coordination skills.
