Tenure-Track or Tenured Faculty Position - Mechanical Engineering

The University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University (UM-SJTU) Joint Institute invites applications for tenure-track or tenured positions at all levels (Assistant, Associate, and Full) in Mechanical Engineering.

Position Details:

All related areas will be considered while the Joint Institute particularly seeks strong candidates in the areas of Manufacturing and Robotics. Applicants must hold a doctorate degree in a relevant field. The candidates are expected to establish vigorous research programs and contribute to undergraduate and graduate education. Salaries are highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The UM-SJTU Joint Institute receives strong support from both partner universities and the Chinese government. It offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and related fields.
