Adjunct Faculty Position in Electrical Engineering

Salary：Each course 4500-6000 USD before tax

Hubei Polytechnic University invites applications for short-term instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering as part of a joint program with a U.S. university. Candidates are expected to provide in-person lectures, interact with students, and grade assignments and exams.

Course Description:

All courses will be delivered over 10 weeks in an in-person format.

TIPS: Need to grade the exams as well as assignments.

Course List:

Teaching site: Huangshi City, Hubei Province:

• Digital Fundamentals（From 20th October to 26th December 2025）
• Microprocessors（From 20th October to 26th December 2025）
• Introduction to Nanotechnology（From 20th October to 26th December 2025）

Teaching Schedule:

All of the above courses are 48 teaching hours each (45 minutes equals 1 teaching hour). All teaching is conducted in-person on campus.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or other closely related field is required for undergraduate instruction.
• Candidates who are working at or graduated from institutions with higher QS/US rankings are preferred.
• Patient and enthusiastic for teaching with a high sense of responsibility.
• More than 3 years of teaching or training experience is preferred.
• Understanding of the American higher education system, test methods, and requirements.
• Native speakers are preferred.

Besides course payment, we will cover the following expenses:

• Visa application (reimbursement)
• Flight purchase (from your location to the campus and back)
• Airport pick-up and drop-off service (between airport and apartment)
• Accommodation during your teaching period in China (on-campus)
• Medical insurance during your teaching period in China
• Guidance for living in China: clothing, food, transportation (e.g., bullet trains), touring, Chinese language learning, etc.
• A Chinese teacher will co-work with you during your lectures, providing necessary explanations and facilitating your teaching and interaction with students.
