Lecturer /Senior Lecturer (Interface Design Program)

Position Description:

Design and teach courses in Computer Science for Interface Design / Industrial Design students, including:

• Fundamentals of programming and Object Oriented Programming (C# and Java)
• Data structures and algorithms
• Internet technologies (HTML, CSS, and fundamentals of networking)
• Web application development with JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
• Mobile applications
• User Experience Design and human/computer interfaces

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Interactive Design 
  (A Master’s degree in Interactive Design and at least two years of experience teaching in English at the university level is acceptable)
• OR Ph.D. in Computer Science
• Minimum of two (2) years studying and/or working in a native-English speaking country for all nationalities
• The position involves participation in the full range of faculty responsibilities, including:
  • Maintaining office hours
  • Attending meetings
  • Scholarly research and related activities
  • Organizing and participating in university-related activities
