1. Introduction about the Lab

The cardiac development laboratory aims to gain in-depth understanding of the molecular mechanisms that regulate the key developmental processes of the heart, and to identify the novel environmental and genetic etiology of congenital heart disease. Various genetic mouse models and modern molecular and cell biology techniques will be used in pursuit of these important questions.

2. Job Openings

• Research Assistant Professor (Statistical Genetics or Bioinformatics): 1
  The candidates must have obtained a Ph.D. in Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics or related fields. Must have proven experience in applying next generation sequencing in genetic analysis of inherited diseases. Have published a minimum of one SCI paper as a first author.
• Research Assistant (Mass Spectrometry): 1
  The candidates must have obtained a Master degree in Pharmacology, Analytical Chemistry or related fields. The candidates must be competent with the mass spectrometry technology and its application in proteomics, metabolomics and targeted small molecule quantification.
