Position Overview

The Medical Physics Graduate Program at Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is seeking one research fellow with expertise in medical imaging and radiation dosimetry. The research fellow will work on simulation, algorithm development, medical imaging and dosimetry research, deep-learning based image processing, and data analysis. Reports to

Prof. Manju Liu, Assistant Professor of Medical Physics

Essential Duties

  • Develop prediction models using multi-parametric imaging
  • Work in the lab and collaboration hospitals for imaging sequence/protocol development
  • Work in the lab and collaboration hospitals for RT dosimetry research
  • Prepare manuscripts, meeting abstracts, presentations, and research reports
  • Perform other research-related tasks as assigned
  • University employees' job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the University grows in size and complexity in its programs

Required Qualifications

  • Strong interest in academic research and development
  • Familiarity with Python and/or Matlab programming
  • Experience in medical imaging, radiotherapy and data analysis

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related majors; Master’s degree is a plus.

Years of Related Working Experience

Excellent fresh graduates will be considered; full-time working experience in medical image processing is a plus.
