Responsibilities
• Liaise with schools and other work and community partners
• Co-ordinate workshops, seminars, exhibitions, carnivals and other educational activities
• Teach in workshops for primary and secondary school students
• Conduct research on Hong Kong history
• Handle documentation of all materials related to project(s)
• Facilitate general administrative work
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator and seniors
Requirements
• A recognized Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in History, Chinese, Translation or Social Sciences
• At least 2 years of work experiences in teaching or education field and/or project coordination
• A good command of spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese) and English
• Strong sense of responsibility, meticulous and well organized
• High self-motivation, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in PC operations (MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing)
Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
