Faculty Positions in English Language

Position Overview

The university is seeking qualified and experienced Foreign English Teachers to join our academic team. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction and contributing to an international learning environment.

Requirements

Basic Requirements

Applicants must comply with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, be in good health, and have no criminal record.

Applicants should be native English speakers with a bachelor’s degree or above.

Candidates should have a background in English language, literature, education, linguistics, or a related field, or possess relevant professional experience.

Applicants must be under the age of 60. Exceptions may be considered for candidates who meet the requirements for high-level talent recognition.

Candidates who have previously worked as foreign teachers in China must:
Have demonstrated compliance with the management requirements of their previous institution; and Have no record of unauthorized or improper resignation.

Professional Qualifications

For English language teaching positions, candidates should meet at least one of the following criteria:

Hold a bachelor’s degree or above from a recognized university in their home country and have at least two years of teaching experience; or

Hold a degree in education, language studies, or teacher education; or

Hold a recognized teaching qualification from their home country; or

Hold an internationally recognized English teaching certificate, such as TEFL or equivalent.

Candidates teaching professional or non-language courses should:

Hold a master’s degree or above;

Have relevant academic qualifications, professional expertise, and industry experience;

Provide appropriate language certification if English is not their native language.

Candidates should demonstrate professional integrity, appropriate conduct, and the ability to work effectively in an educational environment.

Workload and Benefits

Teaching Responsibilities

Teaching load: 16 class hours per week.

Additional teaching hours beyond the required workload will be compensated separately.

Salary and Allowances

The compensation package includes:

Monthly salary;

Meal allowance;

Airfare allowance;

Seniority allowance;

Additional rewards for academic achievements according to university regulations.

Salary levels are determined based on candidates’ academic qualifications, professional titles, teaching experience, and overall professional background.
