The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is a Catholic higher education institution in Macao delivering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes across six faculties and schools: the School of Education, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the Faculty of Business and Law, the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences, the Faculty of Religious Studies and Philosophy, and the Institute for Data Engineering and Science. Teaching and research span fields including data engineering, science, education research, cultural sustainability and religious studies.

Research is organised through dedicated research units, with stated emphases on sustainability and community engagement. The university integrates the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into both research and teaching, and maintains international collaborations and alliances. Alongside its degree programmes, USJ runs executive training and lifelong learning offerings through the Executive Training and Lifelong Learning Office.
