About Global Lifelong Learner Empowerment(GLE)

The GLE is a strategic unit within XJTLU Learning Mall, dedicated to building a lifelong learning community centered on learners with diverse backgrounds and needs, and connected to global academic partners. By integrating international educational resources and establishing a clear educational product matrix — including internationally recognised credit-bearing courses, bridging programmes, and articulation pathways — GLE aims to provide customised learning models for diverse global learners, ultimately serving as a strategic pillar to enhance the XJTLU education brand.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve systems and data collection frameworks to support endtoend programme operations. This includes defining data requirements, establishing collection protocols, and ensuring data integrity and security. Compile and generate monthly operational dashboards and market analysis reports for internal review and strategic planning.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging trends in international education. Conduct indepth admissions data analysis to identify patterns, forecast demand, and generate actionable insights that inform recruitment strategy optimisation and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain standardised templates for operational data, including market performance indicators, student academic outcomes, teaching resource utilisation, and service resource utilisation. Lead the research, writing, and production of the annual white paper on XJTLU’s international education programmes, showcasing achievements, trends, and strategic insights to expand the University’s influence both domestically and internationally.
  • Provide datadriven strategic support to GLE leadership, using analytics to inform target setting, performance evaluation, and the periodic renewal of development objectives. Translate complex data into clear narratives and visualisations that support decisionmaking at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Support other administrative duties and crossfunctional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong proficiency in data management, analysis, and visualisation tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI), with experience designing and maintaining operational data systems.
  • Excellent organisational and systemsthinking skills, with the ability to design scalable frameworks for data collection and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights, strategic recommendations, and compelling written reports.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling sensitive data and preparing formal publications.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce highquality reports and white papers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple datarelated projects simultaneously.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in data operations, business intelligence, reporting, or market analysis within a complex organisational setting, preferably in higher education.
  • Familiarity with student information systems and market research methodologies is highly desirable.
