Research Fellow in Medical Physics (Image Processing)

Position Overview

The Medical Physics Graduate Program at Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is seeking a research fellow with expertise in medical physics and medical image analysis. The research fellow will work on digital phantom design, simulation, algorithm development, deep-learning based image processing, and data analysis. Prof. Fang-Fang Yin, Full Professor of Medical Physics

Essential Duties

• Design and develop new deep learning algorithms for image reconstruction and analysis.
• Work on digital phantom design, simulation, and image processing.
• Prepare manuscripts, meeting abstracts, presentations, and research reports.
• Perform other research-related tasks as assigned.
• University employees' job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the University grows in size and complexity.

Required Qualifications

• Strong interest in academic research and development.
• Familiarity with Python and/or Matlab programming.
• Experience in image processing and data analysis.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related majors; Master’s degree is a plus.

Years of Related Working Experience

Excellent fresh graduates will be considered; full-time working experience in medical image processing is a plus.
