Your Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Contribute to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in product design and manufacture.
• Play a lead role in collaborative research projects and conduct ongoing original research and publications in mechanical, design, and manufacturing areas.

About You

• PhD degree in Construction Management or a closely related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Knowledge and experience of construction project management.
• Experience of supervising PhD and Master‚Äôs students, as well as teaching, tutorial, or laboratory work at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in an international English-speaking institution.
• Proven record of research excellence with publications in peer-reviewed journals and in securing research funding.
• Teaching experience including curriculum development and leadership in academic programmes.

Your Remuneration, Benefits and Support

• Salary within the range of 628,750 RMB to 772,893 RMB (Associate Professor) or 445,732 RMB to 586,945 RMB (Assistant Professor) per annum, depending on skills and experience.
• An attractive package including accommodation allowance, travel allowance, and insurance will be provided for international appointments.

The post will initially be offered on a fixed-term contract with the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China for a period of 5 years starting August 2025. This contract may be extended on an indefinite basis by mutual agreement.
