About Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU)

Shenzhen Technology University is a public undergraduate university established in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City with a high starting point and high standards. It was officially founded in November 2018 with the approval of the Ministry of Education and began enrolling students at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels in 2019 (master’s and doctoral programs are jointly offered with Shenzhen University).

The University is committed to developing into a new type of research-oriented university, adhering to the philosophy of “innovation-driven, demand-oriented, open and integrated, and intelligence-led”. It closely aligns with national strategic needs and the industrial demands of Shenzhen and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, striving to become a cradle for innovative engineers and entrepreneurs, as well as a source of industrial technology in the Greater Bay Area.

SZTU is equipped with first-class teaching and research facilities, with a total investment of 2.4 billion RMB, of which more than one-third is allocated to large-scale instruments and equipment, laying a solid foundation for talent cultivation and scientific innovation. The University has been selected for Guangdong Province’s new round of the “Strengthening Universities Plan” and Shenzhen’s “High-level University Development Plan”. In the 2025 National College Entrance Examination, SZTU ranked 78th nationwide in the physics-based admission score rankings.

About the SZTU Business School

The Business School of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) was established in June 2018. It is a high-level, research-oriented and application-driven business school rooted in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with a national reach and international benchmarks. The school currently has over 1,000 students (including international students) and adopts a small-class, all-English teaching model. It boasts an international faculty of high-level talents and emphasizes deep integration of government, industry, and education. The school aims to cultivate innovative, pragmatic, and future-oriented leaders with an international perspective, who can shape the global economy and society in a responsible manner, foster sustainability awareness, and contribute to the well-being of humanity.

The school currently offers three undergraduate programs, International Business, Marketing, and Financial Management, and a joint MBA program. It has three research centers and one research base: the Center for Green Transition and Frontier Industries Research, the Business Case Research Center, the Financial Innovation and FinTech Research Center, and the Shenzhen Audit Research Base (the first auditing research base jointly established by the Shenzhen Audit Society and a local university). The school is equipped with advanced practical training facilities, including a Digital Economy Laboratory, an Intelligent Accounting Training Room, a Business Simulation Center, and a New Media Recording and Broadcasting Studio.

In November 2023, the school was officially approved to enter the AACSB international accreditation process, joining the global standard of business school excellence. The school plans to launch undergraduate and graduate programs in fields such as Financial Auditing and AI Economics, and is committed to expanding Sino-German double-degree programs.

The school’s faculty consists of more than 40 members, nearly 40% of whom are international teachers. 100% of the faculty hold doctoral degrees, and over 90% have overseas study or work experience. One-third of the teachers graduated from top 100 universities worldwide, including prestigious institutions such as the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Oxford, University College London, and the University of Texas at Dallas.

Most faculty members have worked in business companies and government agencies in Germany, Switzerland, the United States, Australia, and other countries, bringing rich international backgrounds and practical experience to the classroom. They are skilled at integrating cutting-edge business trends and applying the world’s most forward-looking business cases to the Chinese context, greatly benefiting students.

Requirements

Candidates should have a passion for education, an open-minded personality, with a willingness to work together with companies and conduct applied research.

• Ph.D. degree.
• A high level of English language proficiency is required to undertake full English-taught course(s).
• Candidates must have a strong commitment to effective teaching, productive research, and quality services to the school, the university, and society.
• Candidates shall have the ability to work collaboratively and be willing to work with colleagues to carry out the duties of the school.
• Working experience in companies, institutions, or organizations outside of the campus is preferred.
• International educational background and/or work experience is preferred.
• Immediate availability preferred.

• Outstanding candidates may be selected for the University’s “Runyuan Distinguished Talent Program,” which provides additional position subsidies and substantial research funding support.
