Professor of Economics

The School of Economics at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) invites applications for the position of Professor in Economics. We are seeking an ambitious and talented specialist in macroeconomics, trade, and/or international macroeconomics to join our team of experts.

Role and Responsibilities

• Contribute to the teaching and curriculum development of undergraduate, Masters, and PhD programmes in Economics.
• Conduct internationally recognised research in macroeconomics, international trade, or international macroeconomics.
• Provide academic leadership and take a leading role in the School’s policy think tank, Global Economic Policy.

Requirements

• PhD in Economics.
• An internationally recognised research programme in macroeconomics, trade, and/or international macroeconomics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Initial five-year contract, with the possibility of extension to a permanent appointment based on performance.
