To apply for this position, you must be a scholar who has made major basic original academic contributions, and/or once engaged in foundational research into information technology, and/or have made major theoretical breakthroughs in basic mathematics and physics; or an expert and/or a scholar with outstanding original achievements, teaching and research achievements, and international academic leadership.

Remuneration and Benefits

1. Position: Chair Professor;
2. Remuneration: salaries and benefits on a par with those for counterparts at the world’s top universities and subject to particular conditions will be provided for
3. the selected candidates to support their academic studies;
4. Start-up fund: negotiable according to actual demand;
5. Team capacity building and team expanding: vigorous support will be given for team capacity building, and a certain number of additional doctoral students will be enrolled each year;
6. Housing: housing assistance will be provided. Welfare apartments can be purchased if the requirements of the state and the university are met; Children’s schooling: children of pre-school and compulsory education age can be arranged to attend the kindergartens and schools affiliated to Tsinghua University.
