Position Overview
The Medical Physics Graduate Program at Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is seeking a research fellow with expertise in medical physics and medical image analysis. The research fellow will work on digital phantom design, simulation, algorithm development, deep-learning based image processing, and data analysis. Essential Duties
- Design and develop new deep learning algorithms for image reconstruction and analysis.
- Work on digital phantom design, simulation, and image processing.
- Prepare manuscripts, meeting abstracts, presentations, and research reports.
- Perform other research-related tasks as assigned.
- University employees' job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the University grows in size and complexity in its programs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interest in academic research and development.
- Familiarity with Python and/or Matlab programming.
- Experience in image processing and data analysis.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related majors; Master’s degree is a plus.
Years of Related Working Experience
Excellent fresh graduate will be considered; full-time working experience in medical image processing is a plus.
