The Medical Physics Graduate Program at Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is seeking a research fellow with expertise in medical physics and medical image analysis. The research fellow will work on digital phantom design, simulation, algorithm development, 3D printing, deep-learning based image processing, and data analysis.

The Medical Physics Graduate Program at Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is seeking a research fellow with expertise in medical physics and medical image analysis. The research fellow will work on digital phantom design, simulation, algorithm development, 3D printing, deep-learning based image processing, and data analysis.

Reports to

Prof. Fang-Fang Yin, Ph.D., Full Professor of Medical Physics

Essential Duties

  • Design and evaluate physical phantoms for use in imaging and radiation therapy.
  • Work on digital phantom design, simulation, and 3D printing.
  • Prepare manuscripts, meeting abstracts, presentations, and research reports.
  • Perform other research-related tasks as assigned.
  • University employees' job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the University grows in size and complexity in its programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related majors; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Excellent fresh graduate will be considered; full-time working experience in medical image processing is a plus.
  • Strong interest in academic research and development.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or Matlab programming.
  • Experience in 3D printing and data analysis.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related majors; Master’s degree is a plus.

Years of Related Working Experience

Excellent fresh graduate will be considered; full-time working experience in medical image processing is a plus.
