Laboratory Management Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.  Laboratory Project Management
•Coordinate new-build and renovation laboratory projects from initiation through delivery — scheduling, cross-department coordination, and acceptance.
•Lead equipment procurement justification, include but not limited to requirements gathering, technical specifications, budget and compliance review and others.
•Maintain project trackers and report progress and risks on a regular basis.
2. Activity Organisation & Outreach
•Plan and run internal/external lab engagement events (academic liaison, open days, training).
•Operate the lab's official social media account (e.g. WeChat official account): topic planning, writing, formatting, and publishing.
•Produce outreach materials (articles, posters, slides, short-video scripts) with consistent visual identity and messaging.
•Capture and package lab highlights to support reporting and brand building.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree or above in a science or engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience with demonstrable project-management practice (lab, university, or research-institute background preferred).
•Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills; able to drive projects independently.
• Content-creation and outreach ability (writing, layout, basic design, or video production).
• Fluent written and spoken Chinese and English; proficient in Office; familiarity with PM or design tools is a plus.

Required Competencies and Skills:

•PMP or equivalent certification.
•Experience with equipment procurement, capital works, or lab accreditation (e.g. CNAS/ISO).
