Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU),located in Wenzhou, China, one of three Sino-American universities along with NYU Shanghai and Duke Kunshan University, is approved by theMinistry of Education of China. Launched in 2012, WKU offers a unique model of higher education in partnership with Kean University, acomprehensive, public university in the state of New Jersey that is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. TheCollege of Business and Public Management is an AACSB-accredited business school. Wenzhou is one of the most vibrant and economicallyadvanced developed cities on China's East Coast, located one hour by plane and three hours by high-speed train from Shanghai.

WKUsits on approximately 500 beautiful acres and currently enrolls about 5,000 students, and it is now in the midst of a rapid growth that willbring enrollment to 8,500 students within the next five years. All instruction is in English and all curriculum is provided by KeanUniversity.

In addition to its current 18 undergraduate programs, WKU has been approved by the Ministry of Education for offering 8Master's and 3 doctorate programs. WKU highly values research-powered teaching and learning, and the average number of faculty publicationsand the Field-weighted Citation Impact are among the best of leading Chinese academic institutions.

PositionInformation:

• We invite applicants for a full-time, 10-month, position of tenure-track Assistant Professor in GlobalBusiness to begin FALL 2025 (August 16).
• The successful candidate will be able to teach Global Business andrelated courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA) level, as well as participate in the full range of faculty responsibilitiesincluding research, advising, and service to the University.
• Classes may be scheduled on weekdays or weekends, days or evenings.Typically, 4 days per week during the normal 4-month Fall and Spring semesters, or 5 days per week during Winter Session (3 weeks) inJanuary or Summer Session (4 weeks) in June.
• Teaching load is 24 credits, (8 courses) per academic year, with a 6 credit releaseper year for the first 3 years based on research publishing output.

Faculty positions at WKU offer:

Requirements:

• Earned PhD in Global Business or arelated business field.
• - Proven ability to publish original research in indexed peer-reviewed journals.
• - Written andspoken fluency in English.
• - Experience teaching undergraduate and MBA students.
• - Industry/consulting experience.
• - Experience, flexibility, and willingness to teach related courses.
