Physical Education Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Responsible for the day-to-day operations involved in running a sports facility
2.Involved in sports facility management
3.Supervision of sports facilities including the structures and grounds
4.Create and manage a venue booking system
5.Coordinate with different sections or offices, departments for any conflicts
6.Provide high-quality, organized and professional event service to students, departments and university activities
7.Prepare and make sure everything in order for activities including rooms, facilities and so on
8.Help to make games & events go on wheels and ensure all needs can be known and satisfied
9.Undertake any responsibility or carry out any activity according to needs of departments where necessary
10.Organize workshops and activities related to physical fitness to XJTLU students, staff and faculty.
11.Provide professional physical health consulting service
12.Provide physical test, assessment and guidance
13.Provide risk assessment to all activities and games according to Gym daily working process; Provide emergency support & medical support and make emergency action plan and actions that should be taken
14.Propagandize the gym and give media report to games & events
15.Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

•Master degree or above, major in sports or related fields is preferred;
•Work experience with gym or stadium management is preferable;
•Ideally with work experience in education background.

•With solid knowledge of and good familiarity with XJTLU culture and education philosophy;
•Excellent communication, coordination and presentation skills;
•Ability to work on a variety of tasks at the same time, and to organize and prioritize them, including coping with unpredictable volumes of work and busy periods;
•Reliable, dependable and able to produce work of high quality and work under pressure;
•Active and highly motivated and professionally committed, and willing to work on weekends and even on holidays, where necessary;
•Familiar with the related business processes of stadium management and sports event operation;
•Familiar with the planning and implementation of the event, capable of drawing up operational plans and promoting the implementation;
•A good team player who can also work independently
•Skillful at project planning, implementation, promotion and with a high sense of result oriented
